  • 1 tablespoon powdered veggie broth
  • 2 cups hot water
  • 2 cups textured vegetable protein (TVP)
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 cup onions, chopped
  • 1 cup celery or carrot, chopped
  • 1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar grape jelly
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar cocktail sauce

Start preparing your meatballs by preheating your oven to 350 degrees. The veggie powder should be dissolved in hot water and the vegetable protein added. Saute the onion, celery, and sunflower seeds in oil for roughly 5 minutes. The veggie protein should then be added to the pan. In spoonfuls, add the mixture to a baking sheet and bake for approximately 30 minutes. In a crock pot, mix the grape jelly with the cocktail sauce. Allow it to heat through and then add to the meatballs!
