Here are the ingredients you’ll need to make these vegan recipes:


  •  2 1/2 cups of white unbleached flour
  •  1/3 cup of coco powder
  •  1 1/2 tsp of baking powder
  •  1/2 tsp of baking soda
  •  3/4 cup of sugar
  •  1 tbsp of brown sugar
  •  3/4 cup of apple sauce
  •  1/2 cup of light soy milk ( I use Silk)
  •  1 tbsp of hot water
  •  1 tbsp of balsamic vinegar
  •  1 tsp of vanilla extract
  •  2 flax eggs ( 2 tbsp of flax seeds 6 tbsp of water)
  •  2 ripe banana mashed and microwaved for 25 seconds to soften
  •  1 tbsp of chocolate chips melted
  •  1/4 cup of peanut butter melted

Ingredients for Glaze

  •  1/2 cup of confectionery sugar
  •  1 tsp of coco powder
  •  1 tbsp of soy milk

Start preparing these vegan recipes by preheating your oven to 350 degrees. Next, you will need to combine all of your dry ingredients together in a large mixing bowl ( flour, coco powder, sugars, baking soda, and baking powder). In a separate mixing bowl, combine all of your wet ingredients together. This includes the applesauce, soy milk, water, vanilla, balsamic vinegar, vanilla, and flax eggs.

Mix the wet and dry ingredients together well. Next, add in melted chocolate chips, mashed banana, and melted peanut butter, again whisk thoroughly until you have a smooth consistency. The batter should then be poured into a loaf baking pan and baked for about 25 minutes, or until the bread is cooked all the way through. Once it is done cooking, remove it from the oven, let it cool for 15 minutes before removing it from the loaf pan.

Now, it is time to start preparing the glaze. In a mixing bowl, combine the coco powder, confectioner’s sugar, and ½ of the soy milk. Mix them together. If you need too, go ahead and add the rest of the soy milk. The glaze should be smooth and creamy in consistency. Once it is ready, carefully drizzle the glaze over the bread.
