Vegan RecipesThese vegan recipes are for a delicious breakfast. The Maple Pear Walnut Oatmeal does require awhile to cook, so you can prepare it the night before you plan to serve it. This recipe will also require the use of a small slow cooker that measures 1 ½ to 2 quarts.


1/2 cup (40g) steel-cut oats

2 cup (500ml) Unsweetened So Delicious Coconut Milk (you can use any non-dairy milk or even water instead)

1 pear, chopped

1/2 teaspoon vanilla

1/2 teaspoon maple extract

Sweetener of choice, to taste (Stevia is a great options.)

Begin preparing these vegan recipes by spraying your crockpot with a nonstick oil. All of the ingredients for this recipes should be added to your crockpot, with the exception of the sweetener. It should be cooked on low heat in the crockpot for 7-9 hours.

In the morning when you are ready to eat, stir the oatmeal well. Add the chosen sweetener to taste. The oatmeal may seem slightly watery on top, but it should obtain an even consistency once it is stirred. If you would like to add toppings to these vegan recipes, then you can use chopped walnuts, freshly grated nutmeg, or a drizzle of natural maple syrup.
